Prisma Terms and Conditions of Use

These Terms and Conditions govern the access and use of Prisma, a personal finance application available on Android, and coming soon to iOS and web. By using Prisma, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the application or its associated services.

1. Service Identification

Prisma is a personal financial management tool that allows users to record, organize, and analyze information entered by themselves, such as expenses, income, budgets, goals, debts, net worth, subscriptions, alerts, statistics, charts, receipts, invoices, and other data related to personal finances.

Prisma may be available as a mobile application, web, dashboard, premium service, free version with ads, or specific services for corporate clients.

2. Nature of the Service

Prisma is an informational and personal organization application.

Prisma is not a banking entity, a payment institution, an investment firm, a financial advisor, a tax advisor, a legal advisor, an asset manager, or a financial intermediary.

Information, charts, alerts, insights, predictions, recommendations, or results generated by Prisma are for informational and guiding purposes only. They should not be considered professional advice.

The user is solely responsible for their financial, tax, legal, employment, savings, investment, or consumption decisions.

3. Permitted Use

The user agrees to use Prisma lawfully, properly, and in accordance with these terms.

The following is not permitted:

• Using Prisma for illegal, fraudulent, or abusive activities.
• Manipulating, interfering with, or damaging the operation of the application.
• Accessing without authorization the accounts, systems, or data of third parties.
• Attempting to decompile, copy, modify, or exploit parts of the application unless expressly authorized by law.
• Using Prisma to generate false, misleading, or harmful information.
• Reselling, sublicensing, or commercially exploiting the service without authorization.
• Using Prisma, its metrics, or any inference to make hiring, dismissal, promotion, pay, evaluation, discipline, or any other employment decision.

4. User Account

Some features may require a user account, logging in with Google, email, or another authentication method.

The user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials, using correct and updated information, notifying any unauthorized access, and not sharing their account inappropriately.

We may suspend or limit access if we detect abusive, fraudulent, illegal usage or usage contrary to these terms.

5. Data Entered by the User

The user is responsible for the accuracy, legality, and updating of the data they enter in Prisma.

Prisma may help classify, analyze, or visualize information, but it does not guarantee that the data entered, imported, scanned, or automatically generated is complete, accurate, or suitable for a particular purpose.

The user must especially review data generated through OCR, artificial intelligence, automatic rules, smart alerts, or predictions.

6. Artificial Intelligence Features

Prisma may incorporate artificial intelligence features to generate analysis, insights, classifications, alerts, summaries, or recommendations.

These results may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or not adapted to your personal situation. You must review them before making any decision.

Prisma does not guarantee financial results, savings, expense reduction, profitability, investment return, tax compliance, or economic improvement.

7. OCR, Receipts and Documents

OCR scanning features extract information from receipts, invoices, or other documents. The result may contain errors due to image quality, language, format, lighting, type of document, or technical limitations.

The user must review and correct the data before saving or using it.

8. Free Version, Advertisements and Premium

Prisma may offer a free version with advertisements and limited features.

Some features may be reserved for premium users, subscribers, or buyers of a paid license.

Conditions, pricing, duration, included features, and availability may vary by platform, country, app store, or promotion.

9. Payments, Subscriptions and Cancellations

Purchases can be managed through Google Play, Apple App Store, Stripe, or other payment providers.

When the purchase is made through an app store, the management of payments, renewals, cancellations, and refunds is governed by the conditions of that store.

When the purchase is made via Stripe or another external provider, the conditions indicated at the time of purchase will apply.

The user is responsible for cancelling subscriptions before renewal if they do not wish to continue with the service.

10. Refunds

Refunds for purchases made on Google Play or Apple App Store must be requested in accordance with the policies of the corresponding platform.

For purchases managed directly by Prisma or via Stripe, each request will be assessed in accordance with applicable regulations, the commercial conditions indicated at the time of purchase, and the use made of the service.

11. Service Availability

Prisma is provided attempting to maintain a stable and useful service, but permanent availability, absence of errors, or uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed.

The service may be affected by maintenance, updates, technical errors, changes in external providers, connectivity issues, operating system limitations, changes in app stores, or force majeure events.

We may modify, suspend, or withdraw features for technical, commercial, legal, or security reasons.

12. Backups and Data Loss

The user is responsible for maintaining backups when the application offers options for exporting, synchronizing, or backing up data.

Although Prisma may offer local storage, exports, or online synchronization, it is not guaranteed that data can always be recovered in the event of loss, device change, uninstallation, technical error, or accidental deletion.

13. Third-party Services

Prisma may integrate with third-party services such as Google, Firebase, AdMob, Stripe, Apple, analytics providers, advertising, authentication, notifications, or infrastructure.

The use of such services may be subject to their own conditions and privacy policies.

Prisma does not completely control third-party services and will not be responsible for interruptions, changes, errors, or decisions adopted by those providers.

14. Intellectual Property

Prisma, its design, brand, code, structure, texts, graphics, interfaces, logos, and visual elements are the property of their respective owners.

The user receives a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the application in accordance with these terms.

No ownership rights are granted over Prisma or its protected elements.

15. User Content

Data entered by the user remains the property of the user. By using online features, synchronization, AI, OCR, or support, you authorize Prisma and its technical providers to process that information solely to provide the requested service and in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Prisma will not be liable for:

• Financial decisions made by the user.
• Economic, commercial, or financial losses.
• Errors in data entered, imported, scanned, or generated.
• Incorrect results from AI, OCR, alerts, or predictions.
• Loss of data due to device failure, uninstallation, or misuse.
• Interruptions of third-party services.
• Misuse of the application.
• Indirect damages, loss of profits, or loss of opportunity.

Nothing in these terms limits unrenouncable rights that correspond to the user as a consumer.

17. Modifications

We may update these terms to reflect legal, technical, functional, or commercial changes.

When changes are relevant, they will be communicated through the application, website, or appropriate channel. Continued use of Prisma after the update implies acceptance of the new terms, unless applicable regulations require express acceptance.

18. Termination

The user may stop using Prisma at any time, delete the application, or request the deletion of their data in accordance with the Privacy Policy and the data deletion page.

We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated, abusive use occurs, or there is a legal or security obligation.

19. Applicable Law

These terms are governed by the applicable Spanish and European legislation, without prejudice to the rights corresponding to the user as a consumer in their country of residence.
